Contract terminated after secret installs

The city discovered Flock had installed two cameras without authorization. The council voted unanimously to end the program.

Santa Cruz, CA — 2025

Data shared without consent

Officials found local data had been fed into Flock's national network without their knowledge, violating state law. Contract cancelled.

Eugene & Springfield, OR — 2025

Sustained organizing wins

Eyes Off Eugene attended council meetings for months. Both cities ended their Flock programs after community pressure held.

Evanston, IL — 2025

ICE data sharing exposed

After the Illinois Secretary of State revealed Flock data was being shared with federal immigration enforcement, the city pulled 19 cameras.

Olympia, WA — 2025

Nearly 200 residents showed up

A community rally drew close to 200 people. Cameras were covered the next day pending removal.

Flagstaff, AZ — 2025

Mayor acknowledged the community

After sustained resident opposition, the mayor said Flock "wasn't going to be well received" and the city walked away.
